Reduce-Plastic Bags

The next 3 entries will be devoted to plastic grocery bags.  My friend Sarah gave me the tip on this topic.  A simple way to add a little sustainability to your routine is by eliminating your dependence on plastic grocery bags.  Sarah suggests investing a few bucks into cute, convenient, and sustainable cloth bags on your next trip to the grocery store.  These bags can be used over and over again and even if you only used them once a week you’d be eliminating at least 100 plastic bags from your life in 1 year alone.  To help make the transition I recommend keeping 1 or 2 of these bags in your car so hopefully you won’t make it to the grocery store without them.  Many grocery stores have a selection of canvas or netted bags to choose from or you can check out the website at right for a huge selection of reusable bags and some more stylish options.
