Sweet Life

I couldn’t hold off any longer, this beautiful little green tin of Pastiglie Leone mint candies have been staring at me for the last couple of months since we returned from Italy.  I am happy to report that the delightful little candies inside are every bit as lovely as the packaging.  The classic pastilles come in about 7 traditional flavors such as mint, cinnamon, violet, and anise.  They are made with simple ingredients and are considered the gold standard for quality.  They are still manufactured in Torino, Italy even after almost 150 years.  They are a beautiful example of thought and care dedicated to a simple and delicious product, with exceptionally designed packaging.
