peacecorps.jpgThe Coverdell World Wise Schools Match is a nifty little program available to educators of any kind linking up a currently serving Peace Corps Volunteer with students, scout groups, and other after-school clubs.  It is a way to provide first hand accounts to young people in the US from Peace CorpsVolunteers serving around the world.  In some cases the letters from the US can also be shared by the Volunteer in their site with students or other groups, giving an important perspective on American life.  In addition to this correspondence, educational materials on the Volunteer’s country or region of service are also available from the Peace Corps Office in Washington, DC.  You can sign up to be matched with a Volunteer either online or by requesting a mailable form.  Visit the Frequently Asked Question section of the World Wise School Match page for all the info you need to get started.
